Which Batman vehicle drives you crazy? – Car News
If you had the opportunity to be Batman for a day, which Batcave vehicle would you choose? Here are the top five ‘Bat Vehicles’.
In the 1989 Batman film, the Joker, played by Jack Nicholson, exclaimed, “Where does he get these wonderful toys?” Over the years, Batman’s range of vehicles has changed from a sleek sports car to a rugged off-road machine. The legendary DC figure has gained so many followers that the Italian Automobili Pininfarina, under the direction of Mahindra & Mahindra, created two hyperelectric sports cars inspired by Gotham: the B95 hyper Barchetta and the Battista hyper GT’s Dark Knight Edition. Here, we show you the most notable vehicles Batman has, going far beyond the Batmobile. After all, as Robin once commented, “It’s the car, right? The girls love the car.
Batman’s incredible vehicles: The Bat
You may or may not remember the flying aircraft, The Bat from The Dark Knight Rises, but Batman fans will certainly remember the Lucius Fox quote: “And yes, Mr. Wayne, he comes in black.” This intimidating flying object has a dual aircraft engine on the front. The Bat can be easily navigated around the city and between buildings. This allows Batman to hover around the city without experiencing any traffic jams and gives him a panoramic view to easily find his target. It’s the ultimate armored urban war machine from the sky.
Batman’s incredible vehicles: The Batpod
Batman riding a motorcycle is not a common sight, but rather, the Dark Knight occasionally swings his leg over a saddle. The Batpod made its debut in The Dark Knight. With huge tires and multiple machine guns in front, we were left wondering how to negotiate a curve. Well, that’s why he’s Batman. In all fairness, Catwoman made her more of an eye candy in The Dark Knight Rises as she fired guns from her motorcycle. If there was any doubt about its agility, the Batpod showed that it could make 180-degree turns at lightning speed.
The incredible vehicles from Batman: The Tumbler
Batman Begins, by Christopher Nolan, sets aside all Batman clichés by setting up a smooth sports car. Instead, he introduced the conquering Tumbler. A military armored vehicle gathering dust in the basement of Wayne Enterprises gets an all-black avatar and official Cape Crusader wheels. With an afterburner as an exhaust that chases criminals and, if necessary, also drives their vehicles.
Initially, it might seem irritating if you’re used to watching the sleek Batmobile in its different versions, but Nolan was opting for raw, unadulterated force to crush and grab criminals. This vehicle brings us back to the iconic comic book Dark Knight Returns, in which Batman also drove a monstrous tank-like armored vehicle.
Batman’s incredible vehicles: The Batwing
This elegant flying aircraft is designed as the Bat’s insignia. The winged flying machine is armed with missiles and machine guns. The Batwing was introduced in Tim Burton’s Batman in 1989 and one of the film’s most iconic scenes shows the Batwing flying through the air in front of the moon. It was unnecessary, but it was quite memorable. The anticlimax was that the Batwing was easily shot down by the Joker’s simple long-barreled gun. It’s still the most beautiful aircraft in Batman’s collection.
Batman’s incredible vehicles: The Batmobile
In 1989, Batman had the most unique and fascinating Batmobile. Tim Burton took car design and dynamics to a new level. Featuring a low nose with a jet engine turbine as a nose, wraparound windows like a cockpit, and two bat fins at the rear. The Batmobile is a three-seater vehicle with a single raised seat. The Batmobile returned in 1992’s Batman Returns. A few years ago, the Batmobile was for sale in Pennsylvania for $1.5 million.
