Touchstone Considers ETF Share Class Authorization; Dimensional files for three active ETFs
Touchstone Investments will seek relief from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) so it can offer ETF share classes for its line of sub-advised mutual funds, Citywire has learned.
If approved, Touchstone, which has $28.9 billion in assets under management, would also be able to offer its 28 active mutual funds as ETFs. The company currently offers seven ETFs in addition to its mutual funds.
“This app is part of Touchstone’s efforts to meet the changing needs of investors by providing more investment options that deliver value,” said Matt Barry, vice president of product management and head of capital markets. from Touchstone. “Pending SEC approval, Touchstone will seek to offer these new investment options to its customers as soon as possible.”
