The best ETFs of June 2024 – Forbes Advisor
Forbes Advisor looked at several sources to put together this list of the best ETFs. Starting with a universe of thousands of ETFs, we screened stock funds looking for those in the top 20% of three-year returns. Additionally, we looked for ETFs with expense ratios in the bottom 40%. These measures reduced our list of candidates to a manageable number of 162 funds.
Additionally, we have added several bond funds and funds focused on broad, individual and value strategies such as GARP. These funds also had to meet our performance and expense ratio criteria over three years. Excluded from the emerging list? All niche and restricted sector ETFs. This reduced our list of candidates to 113.
We then selected fund categories covering a range of styles, sizes and strategies. The final categories include fixed income and stock ETFs. Our list includes ETFs that provide shareholders with exposure to U.S. and international stocks, some from developed markets, others from emerging markets. Our ETFs also represent cross-sections of large, mid and small cap companies, growth and value stocks, and active and passive management approaches. We also include exposure to ESG factors.
The resulting Top 10 ETFs include exceptional funds with track records comparable to or better than the market and potential for further outperformance. Our ETFs’ lower-than-average fees ensure more of your money goes into the market.
