Smart money app Plum expands offering in Ireland with ETFs
UK-based smart money app Plum has expanded its investment offering in Ireland with exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
ETFs are investment funds that trade on a stock exchange, like stocks. They hold a diversified portfolio of assets, such as stocks, bonds or commodities, and aim to track the performance of a specific index or sector.
Plum ETF Investment Plans
In partnership with Berlin-based fintech Upvest, Plum now offers its clients investments in Euro-denominated ETFs, from 1 EUR, including fractional shares. As a result, Plum offers its clients a broader and enhanced investing experience, in addition to the 3,000 U.S. stocks it already offers.
The Easy ETF range, accessible without a paid subscription, consists of three globally diversified ETFs tailored to different risk levels to help clients start their investment journey.
The rest of the ETFs are available with Pro and Premium subscriptions, with over 40 carefully selected funds in total, such as the S&P 500 US ETF, Artificial Intelligence. or dividend income in Europe.
This launch follows ‘Plum Interest’, a money market fund-based product offering a return of up to 3.80%.
Combined with the Plum equity investment product, the company aims to offer Irish savers a comprehensive range of products to build long-term wealth.
