RBC Recommendations List to be Renamed as Leading U.S. Custodian Prepares to Add Active ETFs
Aaron Hanson, RBC’s head of U.S. due diligence, said RBC’s select list will undergo a name change in the coming months as it prepares to add active ETFs.
Adding active ETFs to its platform has been a priority for Hanson for over a year. In January, Hanson told Citywire it was “at the forefront” in terms of priority for his team. Now, as Hanson and his team prepare to do so, they plan to rename the GMR Mutual Fund Picklist to the GMR Picklist to reflect the change.
“We want this to accurately reflect the fact that this will include active ETFs and mutual funds, so anything that is active in those envelopes could potentially be on that list,” Hanson said. RBC has approximately $583 billion in assets under management.
