Police said they are searching for the accused. This comes in the backdrop of a hit-and-run case involving a Porsche in Pune, where a 17-year-old minor rammed into a motorcycle and killed two people.

Several roads in Bombay are waterlogged after heavy rains continued to lash the city overnight on Saturday. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city is likely to witness mostly cloudy skies and moderate rainfall today. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Meanwhile, the day before, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar urged the Centre not to impose a ban on onion exports at the Mahayuti meeting on Saturday. He said the decision had sparked discontent among farmers, for which the alliance had “paid a heavy price in the Lok Sabha elections”.
