Miami business owner says bagel shop hit by vandalism for 4th time
MIAMI – A bagel store in downtown Miami was once again the target of a vandal.
Josh Nodel, owner of Holy Bagels & Pizzeria, located at 93 NW First St., told Local 10 News that one of his stores was targeted for the fourth time over the weekend.
Numerous volunteers came to clean up the graffiti that said: “Free Palestine Ends Genocide”.
Surveillance video obtained by Local 10 News shows the culprit spray-painting the message on the store’s windows.
Police also confirmed that an Israeli flag was vandalized during the incident and released a photo of the alleged suspect.

“It’s unbelievable,” Nodel said. “It is an act of violence against the Jewish nation and an act of violence against Florida law.”
“The whole community supported me,” Nodel added. “I got a lot of different calls from a lot of different directions.”
Nodel reported another incident in December at the Bagel Time Cafe, located at 3915 Alton Road, which had Israeli It is American flags vandalized by different suspects since the start of the war in the Middle East.
Police arrested a suspect in one of the incidents.
But despite the latest crime, locals say they are determined to continue showing their American — and Jewish — pride.
“We are a community. We support Israel. We Jews will not be silent as we were in 1941. God bless America,” said a judge outside the courthouse, which is next to the bagel shop in downtown Miami.
Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
