Japanese Fintech Chosen to Build Palau’s First Bond Issuance Platform
TOKYO — A Japanese financial technology company that helped create Cambodia’s digital currency will build a gateway to the Pacific island nation of Palau’s bond market, the Nikkei has learned.
Tokyo-based Soramitsu won the order last month and will seek to bring the system online on a trial basis in fiscal 2024. A full rollout could begin the following year.
