Fintech firm Papaya launches payroll and payments management academy
Israeli Cloud-Based Workforce Payment Company Global Papaya announced the launch of an online video “academy” for individuals and organizations looking to take a more strategic approach to payroll management.
The Papaya Global Academy video series includes 21 courses with 85 “expert-led” lessons in total, all available for free on the company’s website. Papaya says its goal is to help payroll professionals around the world improve their skills and knowledge.
Courses include lessons on best practices in negotiations, dealing with employee misclassification, the future of payroll technology, and using artificial intelligence to make payroll easier.
“With the launch of Papaya Global Academy, we are looking to create a stronger payroll ecosystem, looking beyond our own business to build a community of managers and, in turn, enable organizations to be more strategic,” said Papaya Global co-founder and CEO Eynat Guez.
“As the workforce becomes increasingly global, payroll has become even more complex. There is a clear need to pave the way for a new process, which this curriculum offers in both scale and depth,” he said.
Papaya’s AI-powered payroll validation engine enables management to pay employees in local currencies, regardless of location, while providing connectivity with existing payroll systems.
This technology enables global organizations to scale their workforce while remaining protected by Papaya compliance and accountability.
The Tel Aviv-based company is an Israeli unicorn, which surpassed the $1 billion valuation in 2021, with a current valuation of $3.7 billion. The country has over 100 unicorns, which represents about 10 percent of the global total.
