In our latest 60-second video from a fintech conference (yes, that’s the category), we spoke to some of this year’s attendees to find out what they enjoyed most or what they were most looking forward to.

There were interesting panels and keynotes over the course of the one-day conference, which, combined with the networking, made the event worthwhile. And there were some clear highlights.

Power of marketing

It was a busy day, full of the latest and greatest insights in marketing. And several interventions impressed our guests.

The morning speech by the member of the House of Lords, Lord Holmes, saw many people speaking. He was giving a state of the nation and uncovering the key factors shaping the UK’s fintech and financial services sector.

Many of the interventions held during the day consisted of round tables, filmed by many of our guests. One that particularly stands out in the video above is demand generation. Understandably for such a crowded market, finding ways to stimulate demand is a challenge that all companies face.

Throughout the day attendees were treated to a wide range of perspectives and expertise, with representatives from renowned organizations such as Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, AWS, Fintech Week London and more on stage to share their insights and visions.

Other highlights of the event included a session exploring the implications of Europe’s AI law on marketing strategies, bringing together a group of experts to analyze the world’s first comprehensive AI law.

Another engaging session, led by Nick Vitchev, director of research at Chartis Research, focused on predicting market trends and regulatory themes for the coming year. This discussion offered strategic insights for making informed decisions in dynamic market conditions.

Moving from theory to practice, another session shed light on the evolving landscape of event marketing in the new era. Whether in-person, virtual, hybrid, or experiential, speakers provided actionable strategies to cut through the noise and amplify impact in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The culmination of the conference was marked by an inspirational closing speech given by Olympic rower Carla Devlin, whose extraordinary journey served as a testament to the power of resilience, determination and unwavering dedication. Her words resonated with attendees, leaving them motivated and inspired to embark on their own journey to success and fulfillment.
