Egyptian fintech Banknbox partners with CSC Jordan to promote financial inclusion
Egyptian fintech startup Banknbox has partnered with Jordanian payment services provider CSC Jordan to promote financial inclusion and offer joint advanced services to customers of both companies.
Founded in 2022 by Bassem Mahmoud, Bankbox provides a wide range of services, including ATM administration, transaction monitoring, POS and soft-POS. Meanwhile, CSC Jordan, founded in 2004, offers all forms of electronic payment and ATM management services.
The partnership between the two companies will enable Banknbox and CSC Jordan to strengthen their position in the MENA fintech sector by integrating customer-facing systems of banks and financial institutions and connecting applications to provide distinctive regional services to their customers.
The aim is to promote financial inclusion and offer joint advanced services to customers of both companies, through the extension of various banking solutions and innovative payment services.
“CSC Jordan, with its extensive experience serving multiple banks and providing direct services to merchants and customers, is an ideal partner for Banknbox. This partnership will enable collaboration in providing our mutual customers with modern banking and payment technologies, while tapping into new markets,” said Mahmoud.
Bassem Al Dweik, General Manager of CSC Jordan, said that the partnership represents an important step towards achieving their mutual vision of providing advanced banking services.
“As this collaboration aims to enhance financial inclusion and meet the growing needs of customers regionally, the integration between Banknbox marks CSC Jordan’s first cooperation within the Egyptian market, which we truly consider one of the most promising markets in our region,” he said.
