Brazilian Fintech Alume Raises $7M
Brazilian Fintech Aluminum raised $7 million in a Japan-led round Credit Season in the fund’s first investment in higher education financing in Brazil.
With the funds, Alume will provide more loans to medical students and newly graduated doctors.
Alume offers loans to medical students in Brazil. The fintech is expanding by adding an accounting service for doctors who operate as legal entities and need help managing their accounting and taxes.

Founded in 2019, Alume has over 4,000 customers and has issued $29 million in loans to date.
