CDK Global was forced to close down management of its dealership for the second day in a row after being hit by consecutive cyber attacks.
CDK, which serves nearly 15,000 auto dealerships across North America, was hit for the first time by a Wednesday morning attack. This forced it to shut down its systems, which utilities rely on to conduct most of their routine business. Later Wednesday night, a second “cyber incident” occurred, according to a message to customers seen by Automotive News.
