Biometric identity verification platform IDVerse joins the fintech market
IDVerse announced the integration of its biometric identity verification platform with which it trained Generative AI with the Temenos Exchange, a marketplace for fintech companies. This collaboration will allow Temenos customers to leverage the automated verification and bias reduction capabilities provided by the IDVerse platform.
By incorporating this integration, Temenos aims to expand its customer reach while reducing AI bias in order to verify a broader spectrum of customers. Additionally, customers can take advantage of the deepfake defense feature, which uses IDVerse’s unique computer vision techniques to identify small irregularities and evaluate human viability.
“The availability of IDVerse on Temenos Exchange further extends our commitment to the banking community and allows Temenos customers to easily leverage the benefits of GenAI-trained identity verification to address fraud and diverse customer bases,” says Libby Robinson, head of partnerships at IDVerse.
IDVerse says its identity verification platform is highly accurate and capable of verifying users using selfie biometrics and ID scans. The platform is supported by a database of over 16,000 identity documents in 142 languages and composition types and works autonomously without the need for human intervention.
“Integration with Temenos and joining the Temenos Exchange means that IDVerse can write once and be readily available to banks around the world operating on our platform,” says Martin Bailey, Director of Innovation and Ecosystems at Temenos.
A German regulator recently approved IDVerse’s use of biometric facial age estimation, which can be used to limit minors’ access to online gambling. This decision follows a Javelin report which highlighted that 54% of families do not actively monitor their children’s online activities, resulting in an increased risk of exposure to identity fraud.
